MONASTERY OF PEDRALBES:
The monastery of Pedralbes was founded by Queen Elisenda de Montcada in 1327,
with the support of her husband, King James II. Following the spiritual currents of the time,
the new monastery became inhabited from the beginning by the clan nuns,
the feminine branch of the order of San Francisco, who lived there virtually
uninterrupted until the year 1983.

HOW TO ARRIVE?
Far from the bustle of the city center but within the municipal district, the monastery is
easily accessible through the public transport network of the city of Barcelona or with a
private vehicle.

HOURS:
Winter time: from the 1st of October to the 31st of march
From Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m to 2 p.m
On Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m to 5 p.m
Sundays starting at 3 p.m free entrance.
Summer time: from the 1st of April to the 31st of September
From Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m to 5 p.m
Saturdays from 10 a.m to 7 p.m
PRICES:
The regular entrance it’s 5 euros.
But there are some exceptions:
- 3,5 euros if you are: under 30 years, more than 65 years, big families, retirees, unemployed,etc.
- Free entrance if you are: under 16 years, press professionals, if you have Brcelona Card, etc.
